Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of DearMoney. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Definition

• App: DearMoney and all related services and features, including multi-wallet, budgets, recurring bills, auto-income, financial reports, forecasting, and cloud backup/restore.
• We/Provider: The developers and operators of DearMoney.
• User/You: Any individual using DearMoney with or without an account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum legal age in your country to use DearMoney.

3. Service Purpose & Disclaimer

• DearMoney is a personal finance management tool. It is not a licensed financial advisor, bank, or investment product.
• The app provides financial tracking, statistics, and forecasts based on your input but does not provide certified financial advice.
• You are fully responsible for financial decisions and actions taken based on the app’s data and features.

4. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• We may suspend or terminate access if we detect misuse, fraud, or security risks.
• You are encouraged to use PIN and biometric authentication for extra protection.

5. Data Storage

• All financial records are stored locally on your device, using encrypted storage.
• Cloud backup/restore is optional and handled securely via Google Firebase. We do not manually access or share your backup data.
• PDF/Excel/CSV exports are generated locally; no financial data is sent to third-party servers.

6. Privacy Commitment

• Your personal and financial data is not sold or rented to third parties.
• No financial AI analysis is performed; all analytics (budgets, forecasts, reports) are generated offline on your device.
• You can request full account and backup deletion by contacting support.

7. Prohibited Use

• Using the app for illegal activity, fraud, or abuse.
• Attempting to bypass security measures or disrupt app services.
• Distributing pirated or modified versions of DearMoney.

8. Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, app design, code, and documentation belong to us or licensors.
• You retain full ownership of your financial records and data entered in the app.

9. Premium Subscription & Payment

• DearMoney offers Free and Premium plans. Pricing is shown in your app store listing.
• Payments, renewals, and refunds follow Google Play or App Store policies.
• Purchases are tied to your app store account. You can restore purchases anytime using the “Restore Purchase” option.

10. Third-Party Services

DearMoney integrates with Firebase for backup, restore, and analytics. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Availability & Updates

• We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
• Some beta features may be unstable and are provided as-is.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, financial losses, or indirect damages caused by using DearMoney.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indonesian law, with consumer rights respected in your jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated version.
